A Foreign Domestic Helper (FDH) refers to a non-Malaysian national who is legally employed to work in a private household in Malaysia.

FDHs typically assist with daily household responsibilities such as housekeeping, cooking, childcare, elderly care, and personal assistance. Their employment is regulated by Malaysian authorities and requires valid work permits, immigration approval, and medical clearance.

In Malaysia, FDHs commonly come from countries such as Indonesia and The Philippines, and their recruitment must be handled by a licensed employment agency to ensure compliance with labour and immigration regulations.
